I could star in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", with a clitoris who's origin is obvious, as the glans tissue used included the corona.  There's no clitoral hood or inner labia, so it's right out there.  When I wear pants, I have to wear a 'light days' pad to avoid chafing of the clitoris and meatus.  I'm 16 months postop, and a revision is scheduled for next month.

I did have my revision done, and now what I have is both much more comfortable, and much more typical in appearance.  The revision is purely soft tissue work, non-invasive, and the recovery has been pretty easy.  Oh, I was sitting on my donut, but that's to be expected.

There's no loss of sensitivity, just some temporarily sore areas around the incisions and stitching.  The last of the 'dissolving' sutures are working their way out, after most were clipped and removed a week after surgery.

So, revisions can be done, and can work out OK.

By the way, the original vaginoplasty scars are almost invisible now, at the 17 months postop point.  They appear to be at the bottom of natural folds in the skin from what I can find, using a bright light and mirror.  I don't think they are easily spotted in more typical bedroom light!
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Glad to hear that your surgery was a success! I don't know yet if anything can be done for mine. Nothing looks swollen anymore, but my vaginal canal is under, instead of within my inner labia. Perhaps this is normal? Does not look right to me, but I am still happy overall.
