He went on to present Blue Peter and There's Something About Miriam, in which men unwittingly competed to woo a transsexual, and act in Emmerdale. After a stint as a reporter on US TV, he's back in Britain as a contestant on Dancing On Ice, which starts on ITV1 this Saturday."
