Ok so im 3.5 years in on hormones and for 2 years of beibg on hormones my weight stayed the same as it was before hormones. My eating habits have not changed, why all the sudden weight gain? Ive gained 30 lbs in like 6 months. I was 120lb, now im 150 lbs. Did it really take hrt that long to really kick in?

Have you had your thyroid checked? I mean the full panel, not just tsh, which is pituitary anyway. Also, examine your caloric intake. Maybe be more than you realize.

Honestly darling, you are getting older. No you are not that old but it does happen.
You were active in your job before, has that changed? Or your lifestyle, you did get married right? Hormones will definitely play a part but everyone gains weight unless they actively work to avoid it. Gaining weight is something we all struggle with eventually or we decide to forget about, all of your updates have seemed pretty happy all told, sometimes when we are not worrying about everything, well life just happens.
Technically fat redistribution happens from two to seven years and muscle takes a little longer so it seems pretty normal. I gained 38 lbs after two years, I am back down to only 10 lbs above my pre hrt weight. I am diabetic though so not sure if it would be the same thing. Are you happy with the distribution of your fat now?

It's never a bad idea to check a concern with a doctor. I'm not remembering your history, or asking for that matter, but if one has GCS it tends to put weight on. Three years ago before my surgeries, I was 155. I got up as high as 180 before getting a handle on it and am back to 169. I think T tends to help keep the weight off but I'm no expert.
If I ever offend you, let me know. It's not what I am about.

I am curious about this as well as my weight over fall and winter went from 145 pounds now to 165 - 167 pounds. I nothing has changed in any of my blood work, I am eating the same and same activities. I am starting to diet again though to get back down to my 145 pounds, I walk anywhere from 15 to 20 thousand steps a day for work and do 40 sit ups a day and I still gained weight

How much sugar and calories are you all consuming?

I've been losing weight with roughly 20,000 steps per day and 1250 to 1300 calories worth of food per day. I also avoid all junk food and try to avoid processed foods. Vegetables, fruit and protein like fish and chicken and some red meat (I love my burgers) have been my diet of late.

NatalieRene is in the right direction here.

Weight gain can only happen because of increased muscle, fat or water, assuming that you are no longer growing.

Fluid retention is mainly because of too much salt in your diet or possibly because of a kidney disorder.

Increased muscle is caused by Testosterone and hard physical work, either on the job or in the gym.

Too much fat is caused by too many calories, the wrong type of calories or an insulin problem (read diabetes).

The US is in an obesity epidemic right now. It is estimated that 75% of young men of military age are not qualified to serve in the military, mainly because they are overweight. In my opinion, many processed foods have hidden calories that are there for taste and marketing purposes. Eating natural foods is one way to avoid the hidden calories, but for most of us the total number of calories consumed are the cause of weight gain.

I'm experiencing the same. Since starting hrt I've gained back 20 pounds that I fought hard to lose. I'm bringing it up at my next appointment, which should be soon.
