Hey Ladies,

I just recently came out at work and it has led to a few(so far) great stories of what heppens when thoise you know find out via "rumor" second hand, not directly.

One good friend sent me a e-mail two days after I came out at work, (note: I work in a school system with like 5000 employees, not able to tell everyone directly...) anyway, she sent me a message,

Title of empty message   HOW ARE YOU?

Me: I am great, have you heard some rumors?

Her: YES are you retiring?

Me: No...I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE ANOTHER RUMOR...

Her: (long pause...no reply...no reply...no reply...)

Me: can I call?

Her:  Yes call and it is the curiosity that kill the cat

On the phone:

ME:  Hey - How are you?

Her: Okay...

ME: So you heard I was retiring?

Her: no... (LONG PAUSE)

ME: What did you hear... (no answer...)

ME:  It Is True!

Her: It is???  Really?

and we had a very long reaffirming talk, all is good with us!  I love this!!

SO WHAT IS YOUR STORY?  What happened after you came out with people as the news you can no longer control is spread!!!

PLEASE lets fill the pages with good and som not-so-ggod  things that happened!

Love an Hugs,

Marcie

Me: did you hear I was retiring

I told my mother while she was washing the dishes, when I told her she threw the sponge and fork into the water and shouted, "Finally!". She then turned to me and told me she'd been waiting my whole life for this moment.

My siblings weren't shocked of phased by it, they did say it felt right though.
