Sorry if this is not the spot to post stuff at buuuuuuut...

So I logged back on after several months of inactivity. I just want to say, this site helped me out LOTS, lol. My first post was Jan 28, my introduction, and it's funny how much things have changed. I am now like at 8/9 months on HRT and I am loving my new life.

I no longer speak to my family! I have my own house! I have a loving supportive girlfriend and we have a lot of pets. I have gained weight... I bounced back to 180lbs, even though it's mostly in my tummy, I noticed there's extra fluff on my legs and booty... Also chest growth... amazing! I still have the outline or fading characteristics of my old masculine body but I expect things to change in the next year or so when I increase my dosages.

Makeup skills got totes better. I do not go all out, I like to stay natural looking as I can get. I feel a bit more comfortable with wearing form-fitting clothes. I am maybe 9 laser sessions in and I'm at the point where I only have to shave my face every week or every other week. lol, it helps out a lot

Oh, I decided that when I legally change my name next year, I will be going by June/Juniper instead of Ellie lol. My quality of life has improved drastically because I decided to be me. Sure there may not be a lot of family or friends around me but I am genuinely happy (Even more so when I'm eating a pickle at Disneyland!!!).

@EllieJune
Dear EllieJune:
No worries, this is the right spot to post your update.

Welcome back...  I see that you had not posted since last summer in August and that you joined the site way back over a year ago in January 2018.  I always enjoy reading posts of members that find their way back to the forums with their reports and updates regarding their life events.

It is nice to read that you are doing well as you continue your journey in your transition endeavors.
wow... 9 months of HRT, you own your own home, have a supportive girlfriend, lots of pets, and all kinds of good things that you have reported.

Be sure to let us all know when you legally get your name changed next year... and we can change your member name on the forums whenever you wish....   hmmm, from Ellie  to  June or Juniper !!!!  I am excited for you.  Getting a legal name change to match your gender identity is so very affirming and a great feeling... then of course all the document and license name changes... a big task for sure, but a happy task.

Thanks again Ellie for coming back to the forums and sharing your update report...
I will be eagerly looking for more posts from you as you feel so led to share more of your thoughts.

Hugs and best wishes,
Danielle
