Hi!

I'm Winter, I've been here by other names (though I can't remember) during the past 4 years. I am female (mtf) and just wanted to introduce myself.

I am currently going through HRT and am fighting for my surgeries to get done. Its been a very long and tedious struggle.

I came out in, I wanna say 2013 (though not entirely by choice) to my fiancée at the time. Things took a turn for the worst (or maybe best?) and here I am engaged to my soon to be hubby and happy.

I technically came out when I was eight to a cousin of mine, when we were on a campimg trip and I kinda blurted out the truth: "I want to be a girl."
(She forgot)
Thirteen years later, I changed my name (though not legally), and have probably changed it three times since.

Transitioning takes a lot more willpower than people realize. If you are just starting... the road is gonna be very difficult, but keep your chin up.

Hello Winter,

    Thanks so much for sharing in the Intro section of the Forum! May things work out for you concerning your future surgeries. Yes, you are so very right about how it can be very difficult to be transgender in this world. I am still working towards coming out (I'm sixty-three) However, I have finally in the last couple of months have come to accept myself as Marsha after all of these years. I hope that we can chat sometime.
