Do you like to wear hats or caps, including hoodies and hoods?  If so, what kind?

Of course I would wear something covering my head if it was cold.
But sometimes they can simply be fashion items, or good to wear when it is sunny.
Some wear a cap to sleep.

I sometimes wear a hat or cap, do you?  For fashion, practicality, or both?

I've  been wearing a wide brimmed hat whenever I'm out in the sun for the past few decades.

I got a new one with a hole for my ponytail!

I wear a hat for un protection (the very wide brimmed beach type heads.  But most of the time I don't like to wear one because it messes my hair up.

If I am just around home or running errands, I will wear a baseball cap. If I am working in the sun (yard work, rockhounding, or gold prospecting), I wear a wide-brim hat. The top is a strong nylon mesh, so it breathes and keeps me cool. It is a must since I have had five skin cancers removed from my face and neck.

Yes, skin protection is very important.

Only wear them  in autumn or winter. I have a black beanie and a Russian  soldier/trapper hat that has fold down early pieces.

I get too hot wearing hats, in my workshop when grinding I have a beanie. When out and about I wear my "hairy hat " so thats hot enough. Might take my wide brim sun hat with me this weekend away as it says a lot of sun.
