Hello Lovie

My name is Sarah B and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

It would be nice if you are able to send your donation to support Susan's Place.  Here in Australia we don't have check's anymore except bank cheques and its been along time since I have used even one of those.  Yes, I'm old school as well, but there comes a time when one needs to move forward and I'm very careful about the security of my electronic payments, when I do.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.

Take care and all the best for the future.

Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!

Best Wishes Always

Diffidence

I just want to ask solely for clarification purposes.

Paypal donation set up before the incident: still going to Susan, or lost into the void?

I just want to know for sure that it's going where it should. I don't really care whether or not I have a thing next to my name or not. (Although if it ever becomes a discord role then maybe.....)

Apologies in advance if this was already answered somewhere and I just missed it.

Wow, I certainly didn't expect to see this.  I'm so very sorry for everyone's loss and for the loss to the community.   I can't imagine how you felt when you first realized what was lost.  OMG, I would have died.  My heart goes out to you, and everyone that is a part of Susan's.

Thank you for getting the site back up and running again.  I sincerely hope those that have made this site a part of their lives come back.  I know it will be hardest for those that had the daily blogs, as they have lost the most.  But they, in their blogs have made may more friends and loved ones then they know.  They are the reason many of us were visiting the site on a daily basis.

I hope you can get the payment service back up soon.  Do you have a P.O. Box I can send a Cashers Check/donation to?

I do not have a PayPal account.  I have serious issues with PayPal and by no means what them to have any of my information.  In the past I used a Visa gift card and registered it anonymously to make donations.  Sorry, I'm very weird in some ways and I can't help it.

Warm Regards,
Paulie.

I do see the "1 person likes this" message, but no Thumbs-up/Like hyperlink. I checked the DOM and that element is just not there.

Tapatalk, btw, currently doesn't work at all. I believe SMF requires a plugin to enable Tapatalk which might not have been installed yet after the server rebuild.

Lori Dee

Hello Olivia,

I'm Lori Dee. Welcome to Susan's Place!

I see that you are a new member here, and this is your first post.

We strive to make this a safe place to find information and share your thoughts and comments. No matter who you are, you are always welcome at Susan's Place.

We don't have any way of contacting them, so I'm afraid we can't help you there. If contacting them through their website or voicemail doesn't work, maybe try contacting the hospital where they work. Perhaps they are not even there anymore, not in business, left the country, retired, or are no longer living. There are many possibilities, and we have no way of knowing.

We would like to get to know you. Once you feel comfortable here, please feel free to stop by the Introductions Forum, introduce yourself and tell us something about you.

When you click on the HOME button, you will see a page that lists all of the various sub-forums by category and topic. Each sub-forum has a description of what that forum is about, as well as any guidelines for posting.

Please keep in mind when posting that this is an ALL-AGES PUBLIC Forum and the internet never forgets. Do not post anything that you do not want to be made public.

I will add links below that are important for new and returning members. Pay special attention to the links in RED.

Until then, if you have any questions about the Susan's Place site and the Forums, please feel free to contact me at LoriDee605@outlook.com

Once again, welcome to Susan's Place!
