Quote from: NancyDrew1930 on February 04, 2025, 09:33:45 AMRight now I'm wearing an analog watch with a pink strap.  I just get cheap watches because batteries are so expensive, so it's cheaper to just get a new watch.

That makes sense.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I wear an Apple Watch which has it's own data plan and cell connectivity so even if
I leave my iPhone at home I can use it to make and receive phone calls and data.
It is also paired to my iPhone so I can recieve and make calls from that cell number as well....

After transitioning, I never wear a watch. I don't miss it at all.

No, I kind of like using "ish" as a word. What time is it? It's lunchtime-ish. ;D My life isn't really in a place where I need to rely on punctuality right now.

A watch is not needed as much if you have a telephone with you.

However, it is nice to see Minnie's arms point to the hours and minutes on a more girly style watch.

Or SNOOPY antics on a smart watch.

I haven't worn a watch in years. I used to wear a diver's watch because my hands were often underwater. Then I learned that smacking said watch against a rock instantly removes all waterproof features. After replacing the crystal several times, I gave up.

Now I tell time using (STRT), Sephirah's Temporal Reckoning Technique, with descriptive terms like "day", "night", or "hungry-ish".  ;D

Mine's an Apple Watch too but without the cell connectivity.  It's more of a remote control for the iPhone.  Pretty much anything you can do on the phone you can do on the watch. Most things are easier on the phone but for previewing messages, it's awesome.  It's also great for driving navigation, the next turn information shows up on your wrist, that's already in front of your face.
