Have you ever stopped MTF HRT except for medical reasons, but resumed your physician managed HRT?

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Be brave, be strong.  Try a little kindness.  I am a brown eyed brunette.

I know of some ladies overseas who stopped taking their HRT not because of medical reasons but because there were supply shortages.

Have you personally been unable to get your HRT because of a lack of supply?
If so, did you change the form of delivery (route) of the medicine (such as patches to pills) or did you just wait it out?

Prices went up recently for generic Estradiol.  But it is not expensive.

I did once briefly for maybe 6 months after I had been on for about a year.

I just got a text letting me know my Estradiol is ready for pickup at the pharmacy.
Silly as it may sound, even a text like that is affirming in its own little way, even after a number of years on HRT.

I just got a call from the VA pharmacist this morning! They are changing my formulation from Estradiol Cypionate to Estradiol Valerate. She just wanted to let me know the Valerate is a more concentrated dose, so I only need half as much to achieve the same dose level.

Maybe the journey isn't so much about becoming anything.
Maybe it's about un-becoming everything that isn't really you,
so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.
