I'm considering getting my brows shaped and also a brow and lash tint done. There's an LGBTQ friendly Salon in Fargo I can make an appointment at. I want my eyes, brows to stand out, be more feminine. Right now they are very light and thin. Has anyone here done this? Did you like the result?
I thought I could start with my eyes and I can ask questions about my face while I'm there. It's something I want to work on right now.

I have not done it yet, but I want something similar. There is a salon here that does microblading so the effect is permanent. Not sure how I feel about tattooing my eyebrows, but this gal is known throughout the area and comes highly recommended. Just gotta save up for it. The total package is $500 which includes a consultation where we discuss what she thinks would look best, a small "demo" to be sure you can handle the pain, and then the actual session. Touchups after a year might be needed but are not included in the price.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

My hair stylist waxed my eye brows and tinted them. When I say "waxed" what I mean is that she shaped them thinner. I really liked the result!

Appointment made for Wednesday!7/10 I'm apprehensive about talking to her on how I want my brows shaped.. if it's even possible. I have never spoken to anyone about any of this before.

Woo Hoo!
I did it! My brows are shaped and thinner and brows and lashes are tinted. My lash hairs are so short and brows need more hairs though. She told me to try Grande Lash serum and I got that at Ulta. I had to ask the Lady at Ulta to help.. No problem! I had a great day. When I went to the Salon I told her that this was the first time I'd ever spoken to anyone about..my looks and she was real helpful. She can teach me makeup too and they style synthetic hair as well. This is an LGBTQ salon they are very helpful and understanding... I had a great day.

I have a big thing about the eyes being the window to the soul. Eyes... really don't bother with, in my opinion. If you have to do eyebrows.. that's all you... but goddamn, Lori never change how you look. You have the most gorgeous eyes ever. Don't fake this stuff. Just let your soul shine through.

Did them again yesterday. Im starting to see a improvement in the definition of my eyebrows and my lower lashes seem a little better. 👍
With the lash serum I'm supposed to see an improvement out in October. 🤞 Really hoping so.

I'll be watching for an update. My photos are taken with false lashes. My lashes are not very thick since I had eye surgery on both eyes (blepharoplasty). I am hoping that a serum might help improve their filling in.

I see my Opthmalogist later this month for my annual eye exam. I will talk to her about getting a prescription for Latisse. They may not approve it as the VA may consider it "cosmetic". But by approaching my eye DOCTOR about it, she might be able to declare it "medically necessary" for gender dysphoria and because my issue stems from a previous surgery. The VA considers post-op revisions and corrections as medically necessary, even if the VA did not do the surgery.

So we will see.
