IT'S A SCAM!
I just watched a movie called "
McVeigh: Based on Real Events". The story is about a young man and how he built a huge bomb, and what was happening in his life that motivated him to do it. The end of the movie is somewhat anticlimactic because the movie ends with him driving a truck full of explosives, and then cuts to newsreel footage of the OKC bombing aftermath.
After the credits roll by is the standard legal disclaimer:
"THE CHARACTERS AND EVENTS PORTRAYED IN THIS MOTION PICTURE ARE FICTITIOUS. ANY SIMILARITY TO ACTUAL PERSONS, LIVING OR DEAD, OR TO ACTUAL EVENTS IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL... yada yada"
So this is NOT based on real events?
The Timothy McVeigh in the movie was just made up and has absolutely no connection to THE Timothy McVeigh?
I got sucked into a story for 90 minutes... for what?
Gotta love Hollyweird productions.
