While I was shocked to hear that 28-year-old Heath Ledger died, even more of a shock was that less than a week earlier, 25-year-old star Brad Renfro was found dead in Los Angeles, of as-yet-unknown causes.
Renfro starred in The Client, Apt Pupil, and Ghost World, among numerous other films. Check the following link to view his filmography:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000605/. While very few people might readily recognize his name, I always thought he was an incredible actor, if perhaps underestimated. It is definitely a tragedy. He was my age. I hope I will never meet a similar fate.
