CrystalFemme

Hi!
I'm a non-binary femme in Scotland, currently fundraising for private Facial Feminisation Surgery and I'm awaiting my first consultation for lower surgery on the NHS.

I've been out since 2015 and on hormones since 2020, and I'm here at Susan's Place to read through people's experiences with surgeons and potentially seek some advice and support in my process. <3

Hi!

    Welcome CrystalFemme!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Hi Crystal, you'll find lots of friends here. Between us we've explored just about every different way through the maze, so there's always somebody to share experiences with and we can all empathise and shout encouragement!

Hello Crystal

My name is Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

It sounds like you are taking some big steps in your journey and it's completely understandable to seek out advice and support along the way.  This is a great place to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences and you can find information on surgeons, procedures and personal stories here, that can help guide you.

Fundraising for FFS and preparing for lower surgery are both significant milestones and I hope you find the insights and encouragement you need here.  If you ever have questions or just need a place to share your thoughts, you are among people who understand and want to support you.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.

Take care and all the best for the future.  Wishing you all the best with your consultations and fundraising!  You are not alone in this and we're happy to have you here.

Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!

Best Wishes Always
