heeelp...bad hair day

I recently went from wearing synthetics wigs to real hair.  OH, the difference.  I need some tips on hair styling now.   Any suggestions.  I've learned to use hot curlers and curling irons, and I only burned myself a couple of times.  I just can't get it to look the way I want.

I think so. It not only looks better then my synthetic wigs, it's not as hot and it feels better too. More importantly, the learning how to style and care for it is a wonderful experience. I've talked to the girls at the beauty salon and they have no problems in cutting and styling it for me, but for now I'm having fun doing it myself.

Plus it feels more "me". At least more so then when I was wearing synthetic wigs. I now wear my human hair wig all the time -- except for sleeping of course. It has become part of me and I feel naked without it -- something I did not experience with my synthetic wigs.

Of course I'd rather have long beautiful natural hair but I missed that boat.

I love the look and feel of the natural hair.  Plus, you get to style them, that's the one thing that drove me nuts about the sythetic.  Be ready though...the good ones don't come too cheap.  I wish I wouldl have got one when I started but the synthetic did look really good at the time.
