I have been considering changing my sex/gender to nonbinary on my documents, but I heard some concerning issues that made me decide to wait and see if things improve on that area. What are the problems you faced or heard of related to that? I know about the problems with being openly queer, I was mostly asking in terms of legal matters. Were any rights that were taken away/ignored due to being legally recognized as nonbinary?
