And the general public continues to feed them.
I am amazed at the number of people who get tax advice from their hairdresser, real estate advice from their auto mechanic, and even investment advice from a cartoon character.
I had a guy once try to tell me he had a great investment broker. I told him I would consider investing with him once he answered a few questions:
1. How much did this broker pay in taxes last year?
(If he paid any taxes, he doesn't know what he is doing.)
2. If the broker is so great, why is working for someone else?
3. Why isn't he a millionaire by now?
Take your advice from someone who is doing it right. Get financial advice from millionaires. Get tax advice from someone who does not pay taxes. Get real estate advice from someone who owns a lot of real estate. Want to know something about transgender? Ask US!
