According to a press release sent out by Equality California, the Gay-Straight Alliance Network, Lambda Legal, the National Center for Lesbian Rights and the Transgender Law Center, the groups are pleased at the failure of a signature drive by a coalition of what they are calling extreme right-wing groups to overturn civil rights protections for California students.

It was a total non-issue here.  People were more interested in storm coverage, 'boy taunts tiger, tiger eats boy' and Mavericks than any of this.
