Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Try a little kindness.  Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed brunette.

I never enjoyed Halloween, even as a child. I detested wearing costumes. Upon reflection, I think it's because I was forced to wear a costume not of my choosing for most of my life. For over five decades I was forced by family and society to dress and act like a male, while my soul slowly withered. The only thing that helped was occasionally wearing an item of women's clothing. Simply buying women's clothing helped, even if I never wore it. I broke free of the darkness seven years ago, and I will never again wear a costume.

I'm not going to any parties, but if I was, I'd love to go as a mandalorian, they've got some style, like the armorer  :) :)

Are you going to any parties?

I do not know if I will be going to a Halloween party.  I get scared at times as it is by looking at a mirror!

The party details are not confirmed yet but I am in the process of assembling a steam-punk-ish costume. I'm not sure I can pull it off, but I have ordered some parts and accessories. We will see how it goes.

Maybe it's about un-becoming everything that isn't really you,
so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.

Monster Mash definitely. Not a fan of Thriller.
There was one when I was a kid by Basil Rathbone and Bing Crosby. Yikes, I'm old.

Witch Trials, yes. Lizzie Borden, no. Ms Borden was from Fall River, MA which is a few hours south.

It really isn't what you think.

I read somewhere that the city of Salem does not want people to drive to there.

Jenn, have you heard of that initiative?

I love Heath Ledger as The Joker.
I have the hair, so maybe just a bit of face paint and a nurse's uniform?
