I thought "The Day After" wasn't bad. I would watch "Twilight's Last Gleaming" first, then slide right into "The Day After". Twilight was a good "prequel," but it is nearly impossible to find. I have been looking for it for a couple of years now.

Girl, once you watch Threads, and see the point of it... it will change your life. I promise you.

I guess I can drop this post here...I am so trying to find a movie title I saw back in the 90s (or even late 80s maybe) about two teenage boys who become best friends and one eventually betrays the other and he lands in prison after being framed.  It's a very sad story.  I'm not sure if it's a TV movie and I can't remember the actors names and no further details unfortunately.  If anyone here might have a clue please let me know!  Thanks.

Falcon and the Snowman possibly?

The Legacy  aka the  Legacy of  Maggie Walsh. Katherine  Ross playing Maggie Walsh and her boyfriend  Pete played by Sam Elliott find a cheque ending in 666 has been  paid into their account to do some work  in England. You just know it's going to go bad from here!
Following  a motorcycle  accident they end up stopping  in a spooky mansion where the other guests die in grisly manners.
Pretty good  film with a genuine spooky  feel to it and a nude Sam Elliott  shower scene.  This film made me a lifelong Sam Elliott  fan

Thanks but no not that one.  They were very young, prob mid-teens and one wore reading glasses, kinda nerdy.  The other boy had short blonde hair.  I hope the movie buffs here can help, this one is driving me crazy!

Is this a US movie, honey? I've tried having a conversation with Co-Pilot and she wasn't super helpful. Very apologetic but... from your flag, you're Antipodean. Anything else you can tell us? I hate trying to think of something that's on the tip of your tongue but you can't quite spit it out. It drives you mad!

To add another movie to this... Only Lovers Left Alive. It's kind of an indie vampire love story starring Tilda Swinton. Very powerful movie,

I have seen Vanishing Point. It's kind of a cult classic. ;D Haven't seen the other one, though. :)

Another movie I'd like to suggest is "Only Lovers Left Alive". It's kind of an indie vampire love story, starring Tilda Swinton, when she wasn't off making Dr Strange movies. It's very powerful. But then I am a bit of a goth chick and this sort of thing appeals to me. :P

I loved the OG Wicker Man. Not so much the remake with Nick Cage in a cage, with bees, lol. Didn't feel right.

Vanishing Point and the original Wicker Man are masterpieces. Walkabout (from the '70's I think).

A Canadian film only available on local streaming services, but excellent! It's about a trans girl returning home for her mother's funeral. Dawn, Her Dad and the Tractor.

Hugs,

Allie
