Finally got the lawn mowed, mostly. Left a 2 ft wide strip, 25 ft long by the shed. After 2 weeks, it was a bit long and really pulled down the batteries. I did about half yesterday, and had to recharge my batteries overnight. Sirens just went off.

Went out to check the damage. I have a large tree branch on my driveway. It looks like I will have to drive across my lawn to get to the street to drive to St. Cloud tomorrow.

I had gotten a weather alert on my phone about a tornado warning in the area. It didn't say what area. Couldn't find any more information on it. Don't know if the alert was sent to everyone with the same area code. All I could find on the computer was a tornado warning from 5 hours earlier.

The notification on my computer just showed severe thunderstorm warning.

Hopefully, that was the only damage! Be sure to check the house for damage, too. That is a scary thing to happen.

I have had that happen as well. The weather gets crazy outside, but no alerts. I tune the TV to local channels, and all they show is a small sign that says Severe Thunderstorm Warning. They can't be bothered to interrupt their asinine TV show, or God forbid, interrupt a commercial, to let us know we are in danger.

I'm glad you are safe.

I did get to St. Cloud, and got my toenails trimmed. Still not sure if it is an infection. I'll keep brushing on the anti fungal. The podiatrist seemed to have better tools to trim my nails.
I did have to drive across the lawn to get to the street, by the time I got back all that is left of the tree branch is a few twigs.

On the way home, received a call. Tried to answer through the radio, turning the radio volume up to hear. Didn't realize he couldn't hear me with my phone buried in my purse. I don't need it to go through the radio to be hands free. I can be hands free with it going through my hearing aids, and the hearing aids pick up my voice to connect. The phone is now blocked from the radio.

That is a good way to do it!

They are not really snaps, Just called a cover. I remove the white pearl snap covers from my pink and black western flannel shirt and replace them with rose pearl snap covers. The yellow western style shirt got the yellow pearl snap covers. Tried on the western flannel shirt and then remembered the sleeves are 2 inches short at the wrist.
The button front denim skirt that actually ended up falling off me has been taken to the thrift shop. The other denim skirt that had a gap between the waist button and button hole now fits me proper. Continue eating the way that I have been, and I might end up wearing a size 10 (depending on the manufacturer.) I need to grab my tape measure and redo the sheet with my measurements.
