Do you like to sing?

By yourself, or as part of a group?
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Yes! By myself, privately. I like to sing along with Linda Ronstadt, Madonna or Courtney Love and try to sound like them.

When I was a kid... embarrassingly yes. Before puberty hit, me and the two girls next door would walk round in our moms' high heels, with hairbrush microphones, singing at full belt to 80s power ballads. Most notably those by Bonnie Tyler.

This especially.

Now... no. Not in the slightest!

No, there's one exception to that. I cannot sing in the slightest, but if no one's around, and I hear this... I sing along like a madwoman. Because it's my favourite song.

Natura nihil frustra facit.

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3

Agreed. But for me it is this song:

Or "No More Words"...

OK, almost any song from Berlin albums "Love Life" or "Pleasure Victim".  ;D

I heard of that band. Wasn't exposed to them much. Very 80s. Right up my street. :D

When you posted this, I immediately though of Ultravox, and "Vienna". Another song I used to be kind of obsessed with. ;D

80s ftw, lol.

Miharu Barbie

I taught myself to play guitar during the pandemic. I'm not too good at the guitar, but I play everyday. I'm really awful at singing, but I don't even let that slow me down. I have 7 beautiful guitars now, and I have a microphone and amplifier set up in my living room. I crank it up and belt it out on the regular. My wife is long suffering and puts up with my pitchy, out of tune screeching often.

Singing along with my guitar is all that keeps me sane some days. I will never stop.

Guitar is a hauntingly magical instrument, Barbie. Good on you! I highly doubt you're as bad as you think you are. <3
