Hello,
I am Rachel! Please to meet you all. I'm quite shy and have never really shared Rachel outside of my house I share with my supportive wife! But Rachel's been part of me since I was 12 and I'm 43 now! I think I probably have an "oscillating" gender ID whether that's because of things that have happened in the past, when things were less accepted or just how I identify Im unsure. But as I get older I realise I like my feminine side and who Rachel is very much and it's an exciting and liberating journey. Whether I leave the safety of home and venture outside I'm not sure, but we'll see. I'm just really happy to be (finally!) able to talk to some like minded girls. Thank you x

Rachel,

Enjoyed reading your post introducing yourself. I feel the same about feeling better about my true female self as I gain years of wisdom. I presented as male for all of my life. I am now 60. In the last year I started therapy to accept myself. Each day I am feeling better that I have embraced my female self. When discussed with my wife, she has set in her heels against me. I now have a challenge to figure out a plan and then start to execute it. I want to project externally what I feel inside eventually.

Nice to read and make your acquaintance here.

Hugs,
Leigh

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.
