JanScarlett

Hi I'm JanScarlett,
I've been strongly interested in female clothing since a very young age, I can still remember trying on my mothers under things and not knowing why, but found it very pleasurable. Through the years I tried surpressing my desire and found there where times I hid the the desire then there there where times I couldn't. After decades of binging and purging with my cross dressing desire I've decided at 61 I need to incorporate her in my life on a daily basis as much as I can.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

JanScarlett,

Good to read your first post. You will like the support from the sites wonderful genuine people.  I had similar experiences with clothing and finally started therapy at 59. I am now moving on with my life. Days have been sunny and happier now that I am addressing things. The people here are a wonderful source to share with.  Hope to hear more from you soon.

Hugs,
Leigh

Welcome JanScarlett, Most here have went through the purge/refresh cycle. I am 62 and finally enjoying my life free of the stigmatism that plagued my mind all my life. I'm now happy for what seams like the first time and living as my authentic self. Great to have you here.

Welcome to the group janscarlett your story is similar to mine but I never started dressing in womans cloths till I was in my mid to late twenties  but I started to lock it away at the back of my mind till in the last few years . We're I dress up regularly now in doors not ventured out yet near home but have once away from home for the night it felt so good . So hope you like it on here I am new on here to and they have been so friendly and welcomed me with open arms  .

Hi Jan

I know exactly how you feel. I'm new here to. The binging and purging idea makes so much sense I can really relate (I wrote a post just now about it on another thread!) I hope you enjoy the liberation from the purging moment. I have! X see you on the boards!
