Do you like astronomy, outer space, and/or astrophotography?

Please post your astrophotography here (and at other photography topics) if you so desire.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

When I was a kid, my dad worked for NASA. He was an Electronics Engineer at the Mars Station (DSS-14) at the Goldstone Complex in the Mojave Desert in California.

At the time, the Mars station was the largest movable (non-fixed) radio telescope in the world. He worked there during the Gemini and Apollo Missions, including during Neil Armstrong's walk on the Moon. He has a large certificate hanging on his wall signed by Armstrong, Collins, and Aldrin, as well as the executives of NASA and JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratories). If I can find it, I'll post a picture of the certificate.

We would often get up early in the morning to watch rocket launches on TV. He has numerous photographs that were taken by space probe satellites of the Moon and other planets and pictures of the various antennas that were part of the Goldstone Complex.

My uncle, his brother, was convinced that the whole Moon Landing was faked. My dad explained to him what he personally witnessed which proves it happened. His brother is now a believer.

Maybe I will tell the story he told me at another time.

Especially some "intelligent" PhDs, including some mudfuds.

*MudFuds have both the MD PhD

. . . Very little sense and too much pride is often the case.  Not so for the good, down to earth ones!

I do like to watch tarot card readings for my sign from time to time for entertainment. Sometimes what they say is so spot on its crazy.

My wife is more into following the moon cycle cleansing crystals and using crystals. But other than following our astrological signs and a few other things that's about it.
