Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

All of my nightgowns are above the knee. Some are way above the knee.  ;D

I normally wear them year-round, but sometimes when it is bitterly cold out I will wear a T-shirt to keep my shoulders warm. I don't need it often, but South Dakota has winter nights that drop below freezing with winds of 40 - 60 mph. It is like the wind just sucks the heat right out of my apartment through vents.

In the summer, if it is very warm out, I go for lighter materials like negligees.

I wear a nightgown made from viscose from bamboo. Never heard of that material before, but it is super soft! My wife wears one too. I wear it 2-3 times a week. Otherwise naked.

Jessica_Rose

I wear an all natural, form-fitting outfit made of collagen and keratin fibers.

I love wearing a 4-piece silk pajama set, or sometimes a cami top with shorts, or even a lace robe set. I also always wear a silk bonnet to protect my curly hair from friction while I sleep.

I have always been curious about those. I have seen them recommended, especially for long hair to prevent damage. I always thought they would be too warm or just uncomfortable sliding around.

What has been your experience with them?

They work well. Just make sure to get a breathable one. I keep my home at 68°F, and it's comfortable for me. Sometimes, depending on how I sleep, it might come off, but not often. The bonnet helps my hair retain moisture, reduces friction, and prevents tangling while I sleep.

Before bed, I put my hair in a loose bun (or a soft onion) and then pop on the bonnet.

They're very effective in dry, low-humidity environments. Whether or not you need one depends on your hair type, density, and volume and not every hair type requires it.

What helped me figure out my hair type was taking pictures of my hair (avoid including any parts of your face) from the sides, crown, and back. Then I used AI to analyze the photos. The bot identified my hair type, density, and volume and gave me great tips for proper hair care. Following it's instructions I have been getting really good results.

Thanks!

My hair is dry in winter, and long enough (just past my shoulders) that the ends get tangled. I don't sleep well for many reasons and tossing and turning all night leaves me with bed-head extreme. I use moisturizing conditioners and have a humidifier, but it isn't in the bedroom.

I will check into this further.

Thanks again!

You're welcome, also just tell it what products you use or include them in the pictures, and it well tell you the best way to apply them. It's a excellent tool for diy, good luck.

Hi Everyone

Chrissy asked the following questions?  So in the spirit, I have answered them.

Quote from: ChrissyRyan on December 23, 2024, 04:45:37 PMWhat is your favorite sleepwear, length, material, etc.?

Pyjamas?  I don't like and don't wear, which comes from having to wear them as a child, probably because they were not nighties or girls nightwear.  I can understand wearing pyjamas in England and needing to keep warm at night and I guess there are girl's pyjamas.  Maybe I might wear them in the future.

Nightgown?  Definitely my go too. Long preferably ankle or knee length, short sleeve or just shoulder.  This includes negligees.  I'm not a long sleeve lover, even day to day I don't wear long sleeves.

T Shirt  Well yes if its long enough

Naked?  No, definitely not.

Teddy?  I have worn them to bed on occasion, but they are more reserved for special occasions, like going out and . . .

Sleepshirt  Same as the T shirt

Other?  None that I can think of.  I have slept in my day clothes, but that is very rare.

It's given in all of the above, I wear underwear, not bras.

Best Wishes Always
Sarah B

Thanks ladies for your sharing!

I think I may sleep tonight in a nice cotton gown with pretty white lace trim in just the right places.  Very fem and warm.  I just need the curves in all the right places.  Getting there!

It is nice to awake in your nightgown.  It is another affirming experience that could be taken for granted after a while; but, I make it a point to appreciate all of these little things.

Have a pleasant day!
