Do you use a gym, at least during cold or bad weather?

I went twice this week early in the morning to the gym for cardio.
But it is relatively boring.  Need to keep my body healthy this way when it is cold or bad outside.
Probably should cut out the fries too.  nah!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I used to. Back before things and stuff. It had a certain aura of camaraderie. Not now though. I kind of have to improvise to keep relatively in shape. But I get the appeal 100%.

Yeah you should probably cut out the fries, Chrissy, lol. <3 Or at least have low fat mayo. Wait... do you 'Murican folks do that? Or is it Ketchup?

My wife and I did have gym memberships for a while, back pre-transition.  The fact that we might want to do so again at some time in the future was one reason (among others) why I decided to have GCS.  I would not want to be in a locker room with the wrong plumbing.

But right now, the closest I get is using our treadmill in the basement.  We try to get out for real fresh-air walks in the bird sanctuary when we can.  But this time of year, the roads can be dodgy, and the walking trails even more so.  So, in bad conditions, it's the treadmill instead of the outdoors.

I will cut out the fries for a while.  I will stick with tater tots.

Wait.  Maybe I will switch to mashed potatoes and gravy.  No ketchup.

Northern Star Girl

I am a physically active person, hiking, jogging and regularly exercising.
When I previously lived in Eastern Montana where I grew up on my parents ranch I had always
enjoyed going to the local gym to use their variety of machines....
.... in Montana's winter season it was very cold and the gym was a warm and dry refuge to do
my exercise routines.

Soon after I relocated as a full time trans woman to my current home in Alaska in January 2018,
I made a point to quickly get involved in my community and to make new friends.

With 4 or 5 of my new acquaintances that are now my good friends I started my Gym Gals group.
We usually meet on Thursdays to go to the gym together.  Being together provides companionship
at the gym and it never gets boring,
plus there is "safety in numbers" which helps to fend off
any creepy guys that want to stare and ogle us gals in our workout clothes.  I had an episode
when I was alone at the gym before I started going with my gym gals...  there was a guy there
that always sat at one of the machines next to the entrance to the women's locker room and would
stare and hit on the women as they entered or exited.  As the new blue eyed blonde woman in my
small town, I was the focus of his attention.  My gym gals friends would rescue me from being
harassed... again, safety in numbers, plus it was fun to be with each other as we exercised.

Gyms do serve a purpose of enabling some to have better fitness.

I go but they are not my favorite places to go.  Perhaps getting ice cream is.  LOL

In good weather, I just exercise outside unless I want to use a weight machine.

Try slogging through a creek that is knee-deep while carrying 5-gallon buckets of wet gravel. I guarantee you will have no problem sleeping well that night.  ;D

I do not get harassed at the gym.  I think they prefer pretty blue eyed blondes.

I would think one would get tired doing that!
