Federal agencies told to implement transgender bathroom ban as Trump's DEI attacks continue

Federal agencies have been told to implement a transgender bathroom ban, barring trans people from single-sex spaces that correspond with their gender identity.

The Trump administration ordered that the ban must be in place by Friday, also pushing agencies to fire anyone working on "gender ideology."

A memo was sent Wednesday by the Office of Personnel Management to department leaders, asking them to review and put an end to programs, grants, contracts, and media that "promote or inculcate gender ideology."

The administration has defined gender ideology as "an ever-shifting concept of self-assessed gender identity."

The memo issued on Wednesday, obtained by The Hill, states that agency leaders should put workers with a job description that involves "promoting gender ideology" on paid leave by 5 p.m. E.T. on Friday as well as close offices and programs that support the concept that gender is disconnected from sex and exists on a spectrum.

The order also calls for the cancellation of training and employee resource groups that have previously "promoted gender ideology" as well as ensuring documents, policies and forms use the term "sex" instead of "gender." Bathroom and other "intimate spaces" must be "designated by biological sex and not gender identity," the memo states.

Screw them. I did my business in the Pentagon and no one said boo. Actually no they did. I asked where the bathroom was and was pointed in that direction. So 

I doubt the Department of State will care next week either.

Clearly this ban is aimed squarely at our sisters that don't pass. How horrible of a people are we as a whole that we have to live in a time when people that are already sensitive and doing the best they can are shamed for things out of their control.

We shall see how long this lasts because when cis woman start getting kicked out of the bathroom and lose their ->-bleeped-<-.

These are the same people that sneak out to rest stops at night and literally have sex in the bathrooms.

When I was moving to Texas we drove from Virginia to Frisco in one day. At night going to the restroom my ex told me that he walked in and heard noises and two men trying to be very quiet in a stall while he used the urinal.

There's probably a lot of truth to that, Natalie. You only care so deeply about destroying something if you have a vested interest in it. Although the idea of The Donald in a chiffon negligee mouthing sweet nothings with that weird owl mouth expression he seems to have glued onto his face... gives me actual nightmares.
