I cannot imagine ever buying high end designer fashion even if expendable money was not a barrier.  Some does look good, some actually is strange or unappealing.

I would get something that may have a style similar to the high end clothes, but ONLY if I really liked the style and NOT because I wanted people to think I was wearing those expensive clothes.  I would save my money with the lower price clothes and maybe go on vacation or save for old age.

But that is just me.  We each have our own preferences, priorities for our money, and so on.  Others want to get such clothing, and do, and maybe that makes them feel good.  That is fine as long as they can afford to do so.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Sometimes I see a number of higher priced famous name clothing at a boutique resale.
So far, I have not bought any.  Maybe if I were a size 2 or 4 I might!

Maid Marion

The movies the Devil Wears Prada and Crazy Rich Asians gives clues into the world of the wealthy.

As I understand it, the runway fashions are advertising.  The wealthy enjoy the show and get to pick which house will design their hand stitched custom clothing. They also get to tour the sights in Paris. Miranda and her assistant publish advertising in their magazine Runway.  They get free clothes from the big French houses!  Andy decides she doesn't want that lifestyle so she gives away her clothes to an assistant she worked with.
