Hi everyone!

I'm also curious about removable nails—press-ons, glue-ons, or any other kind. Have you tried any brands or styles that you'd recommend? I'm looking for something easy to remove, and comfortable to wear.

If you have any tips or favorite products, I'd love to hear about them! 💅

Thanks so much!

Lori Dee

I have tried them but I have a problem with them breaking off.

But that is primarily due to my hobbies. Digging gravel out of the ground, moving rocks, or even washing and polishing rocks are very hard on a manicure.

My psychologist suggested the press-on nail covers. They are adhesive vinyl so not as rigid as plastic nails. They come in a variety of colors and patterns and can be removed easily. The only issue I had was finding sets that were wide enough for my fat thumbnails. Since they are vinyl, they can be cut with scissors and you can use two covers carefully put together and trimmed to fit each nail.

I have just had better success with growing my nails a little long (so they remain strong) and using various polishes and hardeners.

Hi Natali,

Welcome aboard sister... the brand Dashing Diva is nice.... I had been getting acrylic nails done at nail salons for many years but, eventually got sensitized to the chemicals used... I went to a cleaner ingredient polish by Pacifica for my pedicures and use the Dashing Diva nails on my fingers, usually the French manicure style in the short or medium length! They stay on very well for 4-5 days of hard use usually!

Onward Brave Sister!

Thank you for sharing your experience—it was really helpful! However, I'm looking for something that's easy to remove. I typically wear nails for a very short time, just a few hours at most, and I found regular nails extremely difficult to work with. Do you have any recommendations for a more temporary solution?

Hey Natali...

Yes the Dashing Diva nails are the press on type which is easily removed after application if you want... they peel off cleanly!

I had a manicure yesterday and now I have pretty magenta colored nails.
But it is all my own nails so they are not that long.

I do not have recommendations for press on, easy to remove nails though.  It looks as if some ladies are providing some guidance.

Hope it works out well for you.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.
