KittyChanelle

Hi everyone 😽 my name is Chanelle and i am 37 and i have been cross-dressing since i was 12. Until recently i thought i was just a crossdresser but i met a girl who helps me so much, she helps me accept, discover and explore my feminine side. In that exploration i dsicovered that i am in fact more than just crossdressing, i am going for the transition in the future. I am happy to have found this place to discuss with others like me.😽

Hi Chanelle and welcome,

Everyone finds their own place to stay at the end of our individual journeys and sometimes it takes time to find out you aren't at your destination, so a very warm welcome here and you'll find lots of advice and empathy. Between us we've tried every stop along the way and then some, so there's lots of advice and plenty of encouragement to be found!

KittyChanelle

Thank you so much Tanya! 😽🎀 Your words are so encouraging and warming 😻

Lori Dee

Hello KittyChanelle,

I'm Lori Dee. Welcome to Susan's Place!

Thank you for that introduction! That is exciting news. If you haven't already, seek out a therapist with experience in gender identities. They can be a huge help along your journey. They can help you explore this side of your experience, answer any questions you might have, assist with medical transition if you decide that is what you want, and just be an ally and someone to talk to if things get rough for you.

We strive to make this a safe place to find information and share your thoughts and comments. Our members come from all over the world and have a wide range of experiences. No matter who you are, you are always welcome at Susan's Place.

Please keep in mind when posting that this is an ALL-AGES PUBLIC Forum and the internet never forgets. Do not post anything that you do not want to be made public.

I will add some links here that are important for new members. Pay special attention to the links in RED. When you reach 15 posts, you will be able to send and reply to private messages and add an avatar to your profile.

Until then, if you have any questions about the Susan's Place site and the Forums, please feel free to contact me at  LoriDee605@outlook.com

I see you've been lucky with support and that's a huge plus, because an issue many of have is accepting ourselves for who we are, let alone dealing with other's acceptance. She's a strong card in your hand, so value her!

KittyChanelle

I really do value her! She is so accepting and open😊

Let go of the things that no longer serve you... Let go of the pretense of the false persona, it is not you... Let go of the armor that you have worn for a lifetime, to serve the expectations of others and, to protect the woman inside... She needs protection no longer.... She is tired of hiding and more courageous than you know... Let her prove that to you....Let her step out of the dark and feel the light upon her face.... amg🌸

Welcome Chanelle!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Hi Chanelle

My name is Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!

I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.

It's wonderful to have you here!  Exploring your identity and discovering more about yourself is an exciting journey and it's amazing that you have such a supportive friend helping you along the way.  Having someone who encourages you to accept and embrace your feminine side can make all the difference.

There is nothing wrong with cross-dressing and Susan's Place has forums specifically devoted to cross-dressing where you can connect with others who share similar experiences.  No matter where you are in your journey, you will find a welcoming and understanding community here.

To help you move forward, I would suggest connecting with a gender therapist, psychiatrist, psychologist, or counsellor who practices informed consent.  They can help you work through your thoughts and untangle all those "what ifs." These professionals can provide valuable insights into your feelings, assist you in understanding your identity and guide you in figuring out the next steps, if any, that feel right for you.

I'm glad you found your way here and I hope you find the support and conversations you are looking for.  Looking forward to seeing you around Susan's.

Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads.  I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members

In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.

Take care and all the best for the future.

Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!

Best Wishes Always
