Mrs. Oliphant

Hi everyone-- and yes, ChrissyRyan, sometimes I see moose wandering around Montana. Sorry about the non sequitor, but I am so new to Susan's Place I have not yet learned how to send messages to specific individuals. Chrissy asked, so I answered.
But I have a separate issue: I attempted to change my profile but was unable to do so. Again, I blame my ignorance of all things related to the internet. In short, I am a techno-dud. I wanted to change my pronouns. The first time I entered this portal, I used he/him pronouns. She/her doesn't fit and they/them doesn't feel right. Today, I determined my preference was he/her.
I also need to decide upon a avatar. Something befitting of Mrs. Oliphant. Again, it's just one more thing I don't know how to do. But I'll learn. I love this site. All in all, that's the most important thing I had to say.

Thanks, Danielle--
The information was most helpful and the moose are awesome!
I have learned more about myself during the past week reading other people's stories than I was able to figure out during the three years I've embraced my queerness. I am grateful for what you and everyone else at Susan's Place is doing to help me weave a sense of gender identity from the half-remembered remnants of my childhood (I got into so much trouble for wearing my sister's dresses) and the dreams of being a woman that I could no longer ignore. Gratitude isn't even the right word. Hope. I have hope I can get a few things figured out before I die. Important things that I kept repressed until I was seventy years old.
