every single time someone says something that confirms they dont see me as an actual boy it hurts me so bad and i always tell myself that i should've just expected it but i never do

like when my friend and i kissed and she said "im not gay though" afterwards
or when when a boy asked a girl i used to be friends with what gender i was (because he didnt believe me) and he said she said i was "a girl who wanted to be a boy"
or when my first girlfriend broke up with me because she "didn't want people to think she was dating a girl"
or when someone who i thought genuinely saw me as a boy accidentally uses she/her for me

That is sadly something that we all deal with. It takes time for us to accept ourselves as we are, so things like this can make us feel like we are not making any progress.

Take a deep breath and relax. Just remember that "those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter."

You just have to get to a point where you refuse to live your life according to the whims of others. The only thing that their behavior shows is that they do not really know you. You are going to be okay. Don't let it get to you.

Bud, at some point or another there's gonna be people who dead name and misgender you, either because they don't care or don't know. You just have to either kindly correct them or ignore them if they continue with it. It's frustrating and saddening but it'll make you more resilient and a kinder person. Remember everything happens for a reason. Keep your head up bud
Love who you love, do what you want, and live life to the fullest. They're gonna talk about you anyways so might as well make their conversation interesting. Live as yourself, not someone everyone else wants you to be.
