I went mountain biking, stopped for a post ride adult beverage, came home, grilled a few burgers, and went and got ice cream. Dealt with dysphoria on and off today.

As noted by others, ice cream and chocolate seem to work for me as well.   Actually today I was dealing with some dysphoria on and off as well. Not sure why, it just sorta creeps in there sometimes. Sometimes it seems to tell me to shut down, but I keep moving forward. I put on my best dress and looked in the mirror and that got me back on track. Best wishes sweetie ...

I had such a lovely day with my son.

We went out for breakfast and lunch, then headed back to my place. He had me gaming all afternoon, and let's just say, I was a little rusty! It's been a while, and he definitely enjoyed mercilessly defeating me.

So, I've decided this whole week is going to be my training arc. I'll be ready for him next weekend, game on! 🎮🕹

Now it's just me, some quiet, and a box of chocolates.

I've been dealing with it since last Sunday. The last few days it's been causing me a lot of pain. I push on though. I'm hoping going to the gym tomorrow morning and lifting weights, and running will help.

As noted by others, ice cream and chocolate seem to work for me as well.   Actually today I was dealing with some dysphoria on and off as well. Not sure why, it just sorta creeps in there sometimes. ... I spent the rest of the afternoon at my CPA office with both of my part time
employees catching up on the last minute tax prep and income tax filings for my
procrastinating tax clients.  The IRS Due Date for filing Annual Income Taxes is
the day after tomorrow, Tuesday April 15th. 

Work, no play, makes me very tired!!!!

procrastinating tax clients.  The IRS Due Date for filing Annual Income Taxes is
the day after tomorrow, Tuesday April 15th.

Hi Star, did my taxes Sat .. took two hours via Turbo Tax... ughhh ... plus, they now charge way more this year. Got a refund coming though. Might buy a new dress ... *smiles* Taxes are over, time to play!!

A quiet day here.  I went to the weekday service at my local Baptist church, which was somewhat emotional in view of the time of year.  Then coffee and cake and chat.  Nothing else planned.

So, today was Monday .. not my fav day of the week. I think it goes back to elementary school when starting the weekend was so exciting, you could stay up late and watch a movie or other activities and look forward to sleeping in the next day. Then comes Sunday night ... prolly the most often time one hears from their parents that "it's a school night, get to bed!"

Funny how such old things still hang around. And, it never goes away ... because we don't have school Monday anymore, now we have work.

Anyways, besides all that it was a good Monday for me as I got a another nice smile from someone that I think will lead to something more!

Easter is usually a ham dinner al la my step mothers Virginia roots.

This year with empty nest, we were invited to my eldest Son and his wife's home for Easter Brunch.  Being vegetarian, my daughter-in-law accommodates her carnivore husband occasionally, so she'll put out scrambled eggs, cream cheese bagels and lox, potatoes O'Brian, many many fruits and Jam........just like the buffet at Yellowstone Inn!
 
I'm wanting to Smoke something.  Anything!  I smelled it yesterday in my neighborhood.

Monday was very good, but slower than I like.  Makes the day drag.

I kind of find that funny between Canada and the US, since I just took my taxes to my accountant today, and yet I've had people telling me that taxes were due on April 15 (I pointed out that that was in the US).  However here in Canada the last day to file your taxes so that you are not late is April 30.  However I can just imagine how busy my accountant is right now 8 days before deadline.
