Hi Everyone Here are uncommon sky types and phenomena you might enjoy:
Noctilucent cloud sky: electric-blue clouds shining after sunset at very high altitudes in summer. These are my favourite.
Aurora sky: curtains of green pink or red light near the poles caused by charged solar particles.
Nacreous cloud sky: iridescent pastel clouds in polar winter twilight often called mother-of-pearl clouds.
Lenticular clouds are lens-shaped or saucer-shaped clouds that typically form when stable, moist air flows over mountains, creating standing waves.
Circumhorizon arc sky: a "fire rainbow" band low in the sky when sunlight passes through ice crystals.
What's not to like about these clouds, they form part of my slide show as background images. So please enjoy!
