I played Warships and Warplanes too, but didn't stick with it. Tanks are just my thing. I don't care for PvP either. I played WoW, SWTOR, and others, but stuck with PvE because I enjoy exploring the world maps. Now, I don't play online and stick with city builders like Sim City, Banished, etc.
You are literally my spirit animal. <3 I played WoW for a while, too. But quit a long time ago. Those things can suck you in and forget life exists, lol. I did try some flight sims in VR. They're kind of cool. Got big into Space sims, too, like Elite: Dangerous.
@Sarah B knows all about that life-eater.

But I was only really in it for the dogfighting. And the VR experience... Elite nailed it more than probably any other game. Until they gave up on it. I think if I wasn't so scared of heights I would've joined the RAF instead of the Navy. Or even the FAA (Fleet Air Arm... the Navy version of it).
As an aside... Fury is one of my favourite movies. Those behemoths are more than just vehicles. For the people who train for and crew them. They are a mobile home. Kind of like boats (subs... you have to call a submarine a boat, It's like the law) and ships are for the Navy folks who serve on them. I can see why there is such an attachment.
To drag this back on topic, though... I have kind of got into reaction channels lately. American folks reacting to UK stuff. Channels like
Reacting To My Roots, or
The Natasha & Debbie Show. I find them kind of cool. People wanting to explore things outside their sphere of experience is always kind of cool.
