Hi MinMy name is
Sarah and I would also like to formally, Welcome you to Susan's Place!
I see that other members of Susan's have also welcomed you as well.
Thank you for trusting us with your story. Your life as an artist plus teacher will enrich our conversations here on Susan's. I was also a teacher in mathematics and computers. It takes courage to begin self discovery especially while carrying the weight of childhood hardship persistent depression and antisocial feelings. You have sensed you are a trans woman and are learning to embrace yourself, that bravery deserves respect.
You are in the right place to share and to listen. Many here have faced family dysfunction trauma and similar questions about identity. You will find understanding hearts ready to walk with you.
Share only what feels safe, take things one step at a time and remember that every small act of kindness toward yourself is progress. We are glad you are here. When you feel ready start a thread, ask a question or simply read and rest in the knowledge that you are not alone.
Once you feel comfortable here, it would be appreciated if you add a little bit more about yourself in the other forums and threads. I would appreciate it very much as, I'm always interested in learning something new about new members.
In addition members of Susan's will more than likely will discuss problems or issues that are similar to yours as most have experienced these issues as well.
Take care and all the best for the future.
Once again, Welcome to Susan's Place!Best Wishes AlwaysSarah BGlobal Moderator@Devlyn @Jessica_Rose @Mariah @Northern Star Girl @Lori Dee @Min
