I'm looking for a packer that will last... years

Hey guys,

I've been packing for about ten years, and most of the time stuck with one and the same thing, because I dislike shopping and I dislike having to pick something.

But I'm always having the same issue, even with high quality products; the silicone will experience some breakage 'between sack and shaft', if you will. It seems to be the point where it starts breaking the soonest.

Do any of you have experience with... a darn tough packer.. or something like that?  ;D
I'm looking for something that will last years. I don't use it as an stp or anything besides packing.

Cheers,
Merrick

I know there was quite a bit of discussion about this here long ago. There was a member who did reviews of some. Perhaps use the search box in the top-right corner to see if you can find something relevant. The posts may be old, but I suspect the products mentioned might still be around, and maybe have had some improvements.

I'll step aside now so someone with actual knowledge can jump in and give advice.  ;D

Merrick, try the FTM gear subforum . I'm hot packing over here, so I've never had to shop for a packer.  ;)

Hugs, Devlyn

Hi Devlyn, do you think I can entice someone to move this post over there?  :)
I'll also see if I can discover some of those older threads.
