Throwing caution to the wind, as I am often wont to do, and after careful but, perhaps, indiscrete consideration: the tongue.
Taste engages the world with intimacy and intensity, advising me to spit something out or to chew more slowly and savor all the flavors and textures. The tongue enables me to shout my name to the world or to tell the world to go away. And yes, I believe the tongue, above all else including skin and genitalia, allows us to explore the infinite complexities and pleasures of romantic love from the taste of a first kiss to the wild imaginings of Eros. But above all else, when I am on the verge of saying something I shouldn't, I can bite my tongue. Perhaps, that is what I should have done a few moments ago.
