There's nothing I love doing more than relaxing in one of my beautiful dresses before going to work!! I do feel quite alone tho!

Beautiful dress, Ruby! What era does it represent? We are Civil War buffs, not reenactors. It would be fun to wear the full volume dresses of the time. For a short while. We don't have the closet space for such dresses.

Hi Eileen! It's an 80s bridesmaid dress that I bought online last year! It definitely has the style of the civil war gowns with the very full skirt! I have always loved the dresses from the Civil War era and have always wanted to wear them!

Well, 1860's is much different from 1980's. The full dresses with petticoats must be fun to wear. I wouldn't want to go back to those days though. Just so you know, many bridesmaids dresses are very uncomfortable. Nice you found one that fits you.
Tea on the veranda, a soft breeze through your hair. Enjoy your dress!

I would have to reserve a special place to hang such a dress.  I was hypnotised by those dresses in the Gone with the Wind movie I have to say :icon_dizzy:
