Hip augmentation

Hi! A few years back I had a hip augmentation surgery with implants that did not turn out the way I wanted... Since then I've been trying to figure out how to fix the situation and I'm currently desperately trying to gain weight so I can remove the implants and instead do a fat transfer. However, it is very difficult for me to gain weight which is why I didn't do a fat transfer in the first place.

So now I want to reach out to the community to ask for your experiences regarding hip augmentation. Has anyone tried any method other than implants or fat that was successful? And does anyone have recomendations for surgeons who specialize in the field of hip augmentation? I've found a few in the US but since I live in Europe I would love to hear if someone knows any good surgeon around here. I could of course go back to the surgeon who performed the first surgery but since I wasn't happy with the results I am trying to look into other options.

Could you share a little more about why the first implant surgery did not meet your expectations and what you most hope to feel or see after a revision? Knowing the details helps the group give practical advice that fits your goals.

Please keep two safety points in mind.  Implant based hip work can carry risks such as infection or implants shifting out of position which may mean further surgery if the result changes over time.  With fat transfer about half of the injected fat can be re-absorbed by the body within the first months so final volume may be less than planned.
