Anyone else stuck in this dysphoria–perception loop?

I keep finding myself in this weird loop:

→ Feel dysphoria
→ Start thinking about how people (especially women) see guys who don't fit typical masculinity
→ Go down the rabbit hole of "what makes non-binary/dysphoric people unattractive or threatening to others"
→ Feel even more dysphoric

...and repeat.

It's like my brain thinks overthinking will fix something, but really it just makes me spiral more. Worst part? I actually want to be writing, about love, about someone important to me but this gender-meta spiral keeps hijacking everything.

Anyone else been stuck in this? How do you get out?

I do activities like gardening or playing golf to mentally reset.  Golf is particularly good as it lowers my blood pressure.

If it's unfamiliar to you, this may sound nonsensical, but... Getting out of your mind is an extremely powerful shift. As Eckhart Tolle says, "Reclaim consciousness from the mind." Most of us let our minds run wild and spend the majority of our lives experiencing life as a movie created by the mind instead of what is actually happening in and around us.

Learning to stop the endless chatter of the mind is truly liberating. After a life of nothing else, it's very difficult to retrain ourselves to do it. But it's worth it.
"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Stop internalizing everything you mentioned above.

It's a lot, and probably easier done alongside a gender therapist.

I hope that helps.
