Im very stressed. Worried I been botched. My first surgery was at yeson with very little improvement. My 2nd surgery was a lava in spain to raise the pitch some more. Barely any improvement.

After both costly surgeries I finally did it fully covered by medicare with a local surgeon named Paul Paddle in Melbourne. Im 12 days post op, I cannot utter a single word. I tried saying hello to hear what I sound like nothing comes out at all. My taste buds aren't working right now. Cannot taste anything sweet. My one pleasure is cooking and eating and this all is stressing me out. Im so depressed right now.

I thought this surgery would be a breeze because the first 2 were so simple. No pain no loss in taste buds no complications. I woke to this one with a huge ulcer gash on my top and a gash on my tonsil. I took so long to regain my strength after surgery. The first 2 was almost instant. Dr Paddle responded to my email saying it was "moderately difficult to fit the instrument down your throat due to your veneers and limited jaw movement so your tongue was compressed which affected the nerves but this should resolve in time" He also apologized for giving me the gash on my lip. But to me, if yeson and the Spanish surgeon could perform the procedure without this much damage he could do.

To add, a friend of mine asked her friend who is a reputable plastic surgeon in melbourne about Dr Paddle. He....said he had alot of complaints. But reviews I found were good. Im so conflicted right now. And extremely stressed.

If anyone has any advice who experienced loss in their taste buds that would be much appreciated. Im 12 days post op now. Also my voice was actually really strong after yeson and the spainish surgeon at this point. I said Hello to test it and my voice wasn't damaged. This time......nothing comes out :(
