Stacey_TransBeMe

Hiya, my fellow trans people, I'm Stacey. 💖

I am 43 years old, a software engineer and I quit my job last year to transition. It has been an emotional year to say the least, My friends and family now accept me for the most part which is a good thing. I have started HRT and it is the best thing I have ever done, I am not angry all the time anymore.

Now for the bad, I have been unable to find work despite my 17 years of experience. Not letting that get to me I
created an app 💖 to empower us all. Sometimes if there is no path you just have to pick up a shovel and dig your own! lol The app offers daily tasks like mannerisms exercises, makeup techniques, voice exercises, and more to support our journey. 💅💇♀️💄

I poured my life savings into building this platform (money I had put aside for my own feminization surgeries). Not for profit (only a living wage), but to serve our community with free, accessible, transition resources.

I believe in our strength and resilience, and together, we can use this tool to uplift and unite us. Your support, whether through sharing, feedback, or involvement, would be very apricated and will help expand and improve this project, ensuring it truly meets our needs. 🙏🙏

I hope it is ok to post this here and I would love any feedback you have. Fantastic site by the way, if you ever need any volunteer coding let me know.

All my love, Stacey X x ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜

Hi Stacey!

Welcome!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Hi, Stacey, and welcome to Susan's Place.

Congratulations on diving in to your authentic life. Acceptance from your loved ones is a huge asset, and feeling the benefits of HRT is equally wonderful.

I looked at the website for your app, and I'd like to share a first impression with you. While the intentions appear to be admirable, I'm someone who is very wary of an unknown third party asking me to register and/or install software on my phone. We know all too well that there is an increasingly powerful and organized effort to identify, monitor, and intimidate and even erase us, so I personally don't have the trust that would be needed to take the leap of faith that your app requires. I hope that's not too terribly discouraging to you.

Please continue to come here and share more about yourself. We always welcome more good folks.
