I am in the process of compiling my notes into text. Many of them are copies of pages from various sources in image format. I have scribbled notes all over with illustrative messages like "LIE" or "What?". I am starting with a lost treasure story to kick things off.
Work In Progress.
Umm, yeah. I run three hard drives on my PC. It turns out that my notes were spread across three folders (Documents, Maps, and Photos), and that's not counting the books stored on my phone.
I started getting everything moved into one handy folder and realized that I could write a book about this one lost treasure. That would be too big for a post on a forum, so it will wait. I have notes on three or four others that I suspect may be connected.
Maybe this winter, when I am hibernating indoors with nothing to do, I'll get it written. I can then have it available for download on my website for any members who want a copy. I don't do sign-ups, subscriptions, or even track visitors. There are no ads either. The only stats I get are how many visitors, but no IPs or any other info about who they are (because I don't care). If you are interested, fine. If not, that's fine too.
Instead, I'll start with some basic information about how metal detectors work, which ones I use, and how I use them for coin shooting, relic hunting (treasure!), and gold prospecting. It could end up being another prospecting article to add to my other prospecting articles on my site. But you will get to see it first, my lovely little guinea pigs.
