A transgender prostitute who works the Tenderloin has been coming through the doors of the psychiatric emergency ward for 20 years. She is 37 years old, HIV-positive, schizophrenic and uses tremendous amounts of cocaine - her "sex magic." She comes to the ward to crash and get a dose of Seroquel, an antipsychotic that stops the effects of cocaine. Twenty-four hours later, she is rested and ready to leave.
