Are more people opting for this now?

Hi everyone. Personally I don't consider myself to be non-op. I have every intention of getting surgery done.

My question is are more trans people opting to be non-op nowadays? In my opinion the gender you present yourself as is far more important socially than what is in between your legs. If somebody chooses to be non-op for this reason I fully understand.

I'm not really arguing for one side or the other but I just wanted to know if being non-op is becoming more common nowadays?

Any additional thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't know if more people are choosing this as an option.

There can be many reasons for such a personal choice. But from what I am seeing, many of us want the surgery but are unable to obtain it for various reasons(health, finances, or non-availability due to political pressure).

As more people come forward to embrace their identities, that leaves a backlog of people waiting to have surgery. As that backlog grows, it could appear that there are more people in the category, even if they did not choose to be there.

If that makes sense.
