i ran into something last night, i was watching 'Too Wong Foo..' which i love the movie but at same point there are parts in it which scare the living stuffing out of me..reminding me too much of actual incedents and nightmares

Patrick Swayze's star sank afterwards, that's too bad.  Yeah, I never cared for the film.  I couldn't watch it all the way through.

I've seen the film once and liked it, but I've heard that 'Pricilla, Queen of the Desert' (of which To Wong Fu is a remake) is much better.

PQotD is much better, but foreign films are much different than American ones.  PS star might have shrunk (perhaps they were looking for actors) but Wesley Snipes seems to be doing OK, so you can't blame that movie.

That's true, but John  Leguizamo has probably done better. Perhaps not as much money-wise as Wesley, but the quality of jobs he's gotten and the groasses of the movies he's been in have been excellent.

In addition i cannot imagine anyone else getting Toulouse LaTrec as 'right' as he did.
