Looks like I get to put all this to the test. I (once again) lost my job, so now will be looking for a better one. I'll let you all know how it goes.  :eusa_wall:

Hi, When I came out on my last job as a social worker, they knew my stats and I didn't have any problems as I continued to work there for another 7 years as Cindy. I was unfortunately retired from my last job seven years later. Now the prospect looks good for another job I have applied for as a coordinator for a support group for TSs. I was beginning to think that this job prospect was never going to materialize after waiting for the last two months for a response.

Mind you both Wing Walker and I are retired with a pension that we could live quite well on. But I was getting antsy and I just couldn't see me sitting around this apartment watching myself growing older. In this case I didn't have to hide anything or go stealth and life is good. I thank God and all the saints in heaven, and throw in a couple of guardian angels for good measure. In this town it is all TSs who handle our own affairs. All I am looking for is to feel useful again. ;D

Yep, long story short, it was a bad night. It involved me by myself, a drunk male customer, the name 'bitch, poor camera angles, me refusing service, and my manager forgetting key details when she made her report after I talked to her about the incident last Sunday night.

Take that with my missing work without being able to get a doctor's note when I had dermititis last friday. Along with the two write ups the same manager had made against me when I first started working as she tried to fire me for being trans, I lose my job.

I think she wasn't trying to get me fired for being trans this time. But there were enough discrepancies that it should have been looked into. If they had talked to any of the other employees, they would have known that what I was accused of with the manager would have been completely out of character with me. But alas, it was my word against a manager and a drunk man's. Customer and manager win. I need to start tapping my business phones so I can start keeping recordings of conversations between me and my manager. :(
