New York, NY (CNS) - Betty and the housewives are glad. The 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards releases its list of nominees and Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives lead the comedy series pack.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has honored and recognized different movies and TV shows for their fair and accurate representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/transsexual (LGBT) community.
